Meccano and Model Rail
With Hornby and meccano coming from the same designer I assumed that there would be some relationship. The first phase was exclusively based on 0 gauge track. Based on the results gauge 1, also known as G gauge was chosen as the basis for phase 2. concurrently a similar project making model trams based on meccano parts was initiated.
