A selection of interesting MZ Motorcycles
For a small Eastern European country GP racing proved expensive - but the enduro style of competition was less costly. The bike on the left is of the type that won a number of world championships. On the right is the final model before they pulled out of competition all together
ES and ETS 250. ES for the basic model shown left with the T added for the sports model right.
Fancier styling and four stroke engines were all tried to no avail. The bikes were too old fashioned for the current market, although the two strokes continue to be manufactured in Turkey.
Personalising MZ has be practiced for a long time. On the right is a commercial venture with the TS250. Left is a Greek interpretation of the ETZ251.
